Living at the Art Sanctuary?

Have you ever considered living inside a Sun Flower?
Well, now you can!
For those who may remember the painting 'Waterway' (see enclosed photo) - this is now in the process of becoming an apartment building! Yes, you read right. No, not a big ugly one... a funny and strange one perhaps...and just tall enough to give a very nice view over the Sanctuary and the ocean surrounding the island!
We have started a list of those potentially interested, so if you fancy the idea, don't hesitate!

The Art Sanctuary is officially open!

Thanks to all who made the opening of the Art Sanctuary such a special occasion!

To see all the people walking about in this 'painted universe' - meeting and talking with many of you - and to hear what your experience of it is - is just a little bit beyond description:), and fantastic!

This is stage 1; the Sanctuary is evolving - and we hope you come again and again, enjoy and bring friends.

Also want to thank you for the purchases - these enable the continuation of the vision.

Bugs in my pockets, Bugs in my shoes.

Well, it has been busy time in the DUFI den lately. We have just completed a guerrilla marketing campaign for the Go North music festival.

The festival was over four days, 7-8 June in Inverness and 9-10 June at one of the stages at the Rock Ness music festival. Some absolutely brilliant music. I think the best act for us was Oppenheimer (www.oppenheimermusic.co.uk) - if these guys don't become huge I will eat one of Fin's hats.

Anyway - our campaign included: limited edition A2 Posters, A3 fly posters, badges, limited edition T-shirts, badges, info packs and two stencils that we sprayed directly onto the road in Inverness city centre.

There are a small number of posters left - if you want one, drop us an email and we will post one out to you.

We will post more images over the next couple of days.

---> 23:00 CET (13:00 SL): "Mood Dynamic Frame" and "Smart Frame" demo;
---> 24:00 CET (15:00 SL): US opening, everyone is of course welcome;
---> 24:30 CET (15:30 SL): Continuation of the party;

At arrival you will receive a free welcome gift.Streaming music is available during the opening and the party.Because avatars are always thirsty and hungry free drinks and foods will be present.During the whole event Raspirit Heron and WieBenIk Beaumont will be available to answer answer any questions and help you.

The "Art Sanctuary" is the SL realization of the RL dreams of Raspirit Heron: Creating a virtual world where her paintings come alive in 3D animated paintings. The site shows her paintings transformed into castles, 3D objects, and animated paintings.
The "Castle of the Golden Apples" and the "Frog Castle" are RL paintings used to build the main exhibitions rooms.

The "Castle of the Golden Apples" is a unique exhibition concept using 8 levels, organized in 3 towers. An internal "Guided Visit" system guides you through the exhibition rooms. At each level you receive a notecard with information about the paintings, the sculptures and the painter.The upper floor gives you an amazing overview of the "Art Sanctuary" site. The "Skywalk", -- a Belgian invention to view the RL Grand Canyon" is the place to be for a nice chat about art or making new friends.
The large, more than 100 m long tree avenue, boarded with the "3D animated Apple trees, connects the "Castle of Golden Apples", "Meeting Place", the artist studios and the "Frog Castle".
The meeting place will be used as party place. A swing allows you to see the whole site from the sky, but don't tell us that it makes you mad or even crazy!
The studios of Raspirit Heron and WieBenik Beaumont can be visited and will give an overview of the "Art Sanctuary" products.
We hope you will explore and enjoy the experience of this evolving vision!
