Here is the third street text to go down in Inverness, on Church Street just outside Leakey's bookshop (a great place, an absolute Aladdin's cave of old books!).

The other day I heard someone say that "every third book you read should be from outside your own century."

ART SANCTUARY - OFFICIAL OPENING SEPTEMBER 2nd - 07

I think it's high time we laid it out there on the line

Ok, first things first - sorry! Sorry it has taken us an age and a half to update this. Thankfully that is because we have been busy, as opposed to sitting playing the new PS3.

Here are a couple of photos of the stencil we did for Go North. As we as an image of banners on the Go North Stage at Rock Ness. As you might guess, we were not so bothered about taking photos as we were about dancing like myrmecophobics on an ant hill.

NEW OPENING DATE - SEPTEMBER 2 - 07

We have decided to postpone the official opening until September 2!

For the opening we wanted to have a "Seahorse Chariot" system. It will guide you through the whole Art Sanctuary site, giving the visitor all nice places to see and to visit in detail.
The development and the configuration of the "Seahorse Chariot" takes more time than expected, so we have to postpone the opening with 2 weeks.
The "Seahorse Chariot" is also used as the internal transport system for the Art Sancturay.

Dear Liminal Friends,
(members of 'Art Sanctuary Info group')
We are getting close to the date we have set for the Official Opening of the new Art Sanctuary Isle
- so please mark this day on your calendar!:)
We will also this time have 2 openings - one European and one US time
- We do this to accommodate the different time zones,
but ALL are naturally WELCOME at any or both opening times:)

We are organizing celebration activities/animations between the 2 openings and a dj will supply good-time music on our new spinning zodiak dance floor:)

Making a place for Castle of Golden Apples, Frog Castle and the avenue of magical Apple Trees. We also have a new Sun Flower House, a spinning zodiak dance floor:), a new studio, and many 'moments' to enjoy landscape and views, and of course the sea and water is a great inspiration! We hope you will enjoy it all!

- Please join Mr. Joe Villela, a U.S. artist from California, for his first in-world expo, showcasing a beautiful selection of RL paintings in SL.
Visitors will have the option to not only enjoy, but also purchase SL and RL versions of his work.
The event starts 2:00PM (PST), 9:00PM (GMT), as listed in the EVENTS section of SL. Look for keyword ART, PAINTINGS, or ANIMATION. I hope you enjoy his work, which will be posted throughout Animation Universe's plaza this Saturday.
